Wave Robotics 2026 District Competition Summary
Wave Robotics is going to State!
Wisconsin FRC changed the competition season to a district format this year. With this change, FRC Teams now only compete with other Wisconsin teams at two of four district competitions.Â
Wave Robotics competed March 21-22 in Appleton and again on April 4-5 in LaCrosse.

These are the two highest awards that teams can earn. Winning these is sending us to the Wisconsin State Championship where we will compete to be the State champion for both of these awards and will also get to compete with our robot.
You can watch the award winning Impact video on the official wave robotics youtube channel here.
You can also read up on our robot's build log on the 2026 Open Alliance Build Thread.
The District Championship will be held April 18-19 at Brookfield East High School and is open to the public. Winners at the State District Championship will be eligible to compete at the World Championship in Houston at the end of April.Â
Wave Robotics would love for you to join us in Milwaukee to cheer for us! Unable to attend in person? You can watch us on the Official First Wisconsin Youtube Channel!
We thank to thank our sponsors for their continued support of the Wave Robotics program. It is through their generosity we have been able to make a positive impact. Much like a single drop of water can send ripples and lead to big waves, we are excited to show the world what Wave can do.
