On March 7th, four Wave students were invited by a local radio station who sponsored our shirts this season, 93.9 WOSH to talk about our upcoming competition. The students arrived early in the morning and were led to a recording booth with the host in another booth. They were then asked a couple of questions, beginning by introducing the team and the season, as well as the process behind creating the season’s robot. They were also asked about scouting during the season and how competitions work. They then ended the interview with the exciting reveal of our robot’s name; Tsunami! Wave is grateful to our sponsor for this new and exciting opportunity to share the team’s impact within the community!
