On February 10, 2022, Wave had the amazing opportunity to interview Mai Lee Chang, a former NASA engineer.  The interview was part of Wave Robotics’ mission to become more inclusive.  Mai Lee Chang is also an Oshkosh North alumni, and the first Hmong person to work at NASA.  Her work also contributed to NASA’s mission to Mars. 

Before meeting her, Wave students brainstormed questions to ask Mai Lee.  Some of the questions Wave asked were what interested her in the STEM field, advice for students considering a STEM career, and how she overcame barriers.  See the video below for her responses!
