On October 14, Wave attended the 2023 TWIST event.  TWIST (Together Women In STEM Thrive) is an event dedicated to empowering women in stem, and was held in Muskego, WI.  Each attending team would send out a drive team consisting of women and non-binary people to compete against other teams like an actual competition.  This was Wave’s first year attending this event and we were greeted with a warm welcome.  Out of 18 teams, we were placed 8th overall in the 5th alliance.  We even got the Twisted Metal award which was to celebrate our perseverance to get back onto the field after a rocky start!  Overall we did well and had an amazing time at TWIST, we’re looking forward to coming back next year.
