On January 6, 2024, we will be celebrating the 2024 season's Kickoff. Kickoff is a global event where FRC (First Robotics Competition) teams come together to find out what our season's challenge and game is. We then brainstorm ideas on what we want our game play to look like and begin prototyping our robot.

Attendees can enter through door 1 and follow the signs to the school library for the event.

  • Prepare for Kick-off launch from FIRST (broadcast begins and is scheduled to last one hour)
  • Eat lunch while watching Kick-off stream

  • Small group share out (rules, robot strategy, etc.)
• 1:30 pm
  • Rules review
  • Student breakout groups (possibly field, match play/scoring, robot rules)
  • On large paper, write down most important rule details
  • Each group presents what they found
  • Open forum/Q&A about rules and interpretations
